Vintage Finds, Locally Hand Crafted items and unique gift ideas.

Stepping into our shop is like stepping into a dream country home; carefully displayed to help inspire you with quality gifts, home accessories, vintage finds and occasional furniture.

Located in the old market town of Fordingbridge, on the edge of the New Forest, the Georgian fronted listed shop sits at the start of the High Street.

Inside you will find a warm welcome within a homely atmosphere because we want you to feel comfortable browsing for as long as you like whether, or not, you make a purchase.

If you need assistance we are more than happy to help you with your choice and if you purchase a gift it can be wrapped for you.

We also have gifted local crafters who supply us with various goods such as knitted cushions, cards, pottery, woodturning and much more.

And we dont stop there....we have a Nursery area too; offering the beautiful Powel Craft vintage inspired baby clothes, soft toys and beautiful gift ideas for a new arrival. We have an adorable selection of cards and gift wrap and unique christening ideas along with some lovely Nursery accessories and furnishings.

We believe everything you purchase should be good enough to be given as a gift, as you leave our shop, so your purchase will always be carefully wrapped in tissue and placed in one of our classic bags. Special gift wrapping can also be done on request and Gift Vouchers are available should you wish to give the recipient the opportunity to visit us and choose something themselves.

Our 'Vintage Finds' are an exciting and special part of The Butler Tray, we source the items ourselves, clean them up and restore or enhance them before offering them for sale.

And finally.... You will always find our permanently stocked British items; Dunoon Mugs along with the beautifully fragranced and natural home and bath products from Heyland & Whittle are always in store. Also, in support of our local Salisbury District Hospital, we stock, the recently TV advertised, 'My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream' developed by the hospital with all profits going back into patient care.
